As the Business Systems Manager, you will be the technical owner of our CRM, ERP, and HRIS systems and the manager of both in-house and outsourced Salesforce and Netsuite Administrators. You will build deep relationships with your stakeholders to understand both their processes and how their processes fit into the enterprise context. You will work cross-functionally with a team to research, develop, and implement enterprise-level best practices and solutions that will result in providing business users and leaders superior data for making better, faster business decisions. You’ll also coach colleagues on process management and improvement so as to build excellence the competency across the business.

You will:

  • serve as the primary technical owner for Salesforce, Netsuite, and Namely
  • serve as an expert on how to use CRM, ERP, and other business systems to operate the edX business efficiently and effectively
  • build a deep understanding of company business processes, from the team level to the enterprise level
  • identify and select best practices to document, optimize, and automate business processes across the business
  • develop solutions to support and improve business processes in alignment with IT strategy and architecture
  • lead large, cross-functional projects to implement new integrations, processes, and technical solutions using enterprise business systems
  • manage the prioritization, project planning, and ongoing activity management for your team, which includes both in-house and outsourced members
  • provide leadership and mentorship to develop the members of your team as well as coach colleagues around the company in business process improvement
  • recruit, hire, onboard, and manage performance for current members of your team and positions that we open up in the future
  • consult with owners of other systems and our broader data warehouse on how to both enable data to be accessible across platforms and for multiple uses and how we can leverage our enterprise systems to support the people, process, and work to drive better and faster decision making.

  • 3+ years of project / program management experience
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience
  • 3+ years in administering Salesforce
  • 2+ years in administering Netsuite
  • 2+ years in a business operations context
  • experience with ETL or data virtualization between operational and reconciled systems
  • experience with enterprise ecommerce systems
  • experience managing people
  • experience managing outsourced resources
  • experience working in an Agile environment
