We are looking for a Email Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Cambridge, MA, in the heart of Kendall Square. Working as part of the Digital Marketing Team, the Email Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns and automated programs to increase learner enrollment, revenue and engagement. Specifically, this person will own the production and execution of ad-hoc and automated email marketing campaigns, as well as the analysis of all campaigns. Additionally, the role will maintain knowledge of best practices in email marketing.
Produce and deploy email marketing campaigns to engage, retain and convert learners
Optimize campaigns via A/B and other testing methodologies
Track performance and report on results that will drive insight into all programs
Code emails using the latest HTML templates
Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution. Collaborate with Sailthru support team as required.
Build and manage email filters and lists based on given strategic direction
QA of emails and verify email audience counts prior to scheduling
Actively learn and apply knowledge of best practices, previous campaign performance, and your own creative ideas to improve list growth and list yield
0-3 years experience producing and executing email marketing campaigns using an ESP
Experience reporting on campaign performance and deriving insights
Solid understanding of email marketing best practices
Comfortable working autonomously and think critically, with a bias towards action
Familiarity with Google Analytics
Basic knowledge of HTML and eagerness to learn
