  • People management – Ability to manage the dev team across multiple, evolving priorities with efficiency; while maintaining a high degree of employee engagement; and supporting Eden’s culture and core values
  • Develops team technically through mentoring and other available means (e.g. enhancing code review process); makes sufficient time for this activity
  • Process builder – breaks down problem and champions adoption of repeatable, scalable processes
  • Inspires accountability – keeps engineering team accountable with high touch management and clear expectations around effort and output
  • Enjoys process – likes creating ambitious goals, breaking sprints into component parts, creating clear deadlines, and hitting them 90%+ of the time (even if scope must be modified)
  • Experience managing an Engineering team
  • Tech degree with full stack experience
  • Cloud & SaaS business model experience
  • Experience building enterprise grade software, perferably with consumer focused UI experience
  • Ruby (or Python/PHP), Postgres, Redis, React Native
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to problem-solve, adapt, and grow quickly as we build our team
