How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Support the month-end process by working closely with the Manager, Finance
  • Own and manage the accounting policy review process as well as Financial Statement Disclosures that are required for the Parent Company
  • Review entries and analyses prepared by the Accountant
  • Prepare journal entries related to significant estimates and operating accruals, including US GAAP estimates and royalty calculations
  • Own month-end and intercompany reconciliations
  • Perform financial analysis by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information for monthly and quarterly budget to actual analysis
  • Contributing to ad hoc projects as assigned

What You’llBring to the Table:

  • Currently designated or working towards a designation (CPA)
  • 5+ years of related experience preferred
  • US GAAP or IFRS experience required with US GAAP being preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to support strong interpersonal skills, enabling successful collaboration with a cross-section of teams
  • Pro-active self-starter, who takes a high level of ownership in their work
  • Cloud based accounting software experience, NetSuite an asset
