As Compliance Officer Manager your mission will be to ensure that the company operates within the bounds of all relevant regulations and standards, safeguarding EBANX's integrity and reputation in the market.

You will also be responsible for:

Being up to date about the local regulatory environment, reporting, to the GR&C (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and Legal teams, any regulatory matter or update that might affect EBANX business models;
Being up to date about the local payment methods market, reporting, to the GR&C team, any relevant economic-financial shift or threat that might affect EBANX strategy;
Receiving external due diligence demands from partners (especially banks and audits);
Be EBANX's representative to MAS licensing and tracking, managing and maintaining new and ongoing license compliance, including managing regulatory examinations, applying for new licenses and responding to requests from regulators, banks and partners;
Be the subject matter expert on MAS rules and regulations by keeping up to date with the latest regulatory requirements that EBANX needs to comply with;
Managing the relationship with the MAS in support of the GR&C team and maintaining regular communication with the MAS and all other relevant regulatory authorities;
Assume the role of the EBANX Singapore Compliance Officer and/or Money Laundering Reporting officer (MLRO), collate information, and handle Compliance reporting internally and externally to regulators/authorities;
Supporting the GR&C team on ensuring that APAC teams have concluded their training sessions regarding GR&C and all other topics;
Supporting Finance team on partners demands;
Supporting on mapping risks related to the financial flows and to all procedures regarding EBANX Singapore;
Identifying, evaluating and reporting the main risks that are inherent to EBANX Singapore operation;
Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation, within acceptable levels of risk, and following the internal risk appetite;
Providing support on monitoring and reporting to the GR&C team any potential crisis situation, such as weather alerts and incidents that might impact EBANX business continuity.

What's mandatory:

Experience in compliance, audit, risk or related role within a payments industry or financial services;
Demonstrated experience interfacing various stakeholders on compliance matters with the ability to build internal support at all levels of the organization;
Proven team player with ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds, functions and cultures;
Strong analytical, problem solving, implementation and communication skills / fluent English is required;
Very good understanding of SG Regulatory Framework;
Knowledge of regulations relating to anti-money laundering, terrorism financing, and economic sanctions.
