We are searching for an LATAM Tax Specialist with a lot of will to help our international merchants, offering them the best experience while working with EBANX. It is important to have experience with large customers portfolios, providing strategic solutions and also be flexible, to have an entrepreneurial spirit, to be engaged, autonomous and able to learn fast.

Besides conquering the world, your activities will be:

Map LATAM Tax legislation changes related to our business;
Analysis of financial modelling of potential impacts related to local and cross border operations;
Support on the preparation and review of official communications and analysis regarding changes on finance and digital services taxation;
Prepare, consolidate, and monitor the KPIs related to Tax field;
Monitor intercompany operations in order to ensure their compliance with Transfer Pricing Rules;
Direct interface with external advisors in Tax Planning and matters;
Provide support the the EBANX teams in daily operations and strategies;
Guidance on the Transactional Taxes applicable in each product, agreement analysis related to Tax clauses;
Direct communication with stakeholders, clients and partners;
Tax discovery for new operations and products.

What’s mandatory:

Degree in Law, Accounting or related courses;
Experience working with Tax Planning (Big 4 experience is a plus);
Spanish native speaker;
English speaker (is a must);
Technology or Payments industry experience (bonus points);
Systemic and fast thinking to provide simple solutions to complex problems;
Easy learning and adaptation: we have the ability to change fast;
Have the urge to question and discover alternatives to pre-existing paradigms;
Ownership and decision making driven;
Being interested in new technology and finance products and fast-learner.
