Job Title: App Support Team Lead
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Location: London, Taiwan, Remote
Key Relationships: Engineering, Support.

Job Purpose: 
We're looking for a highly motivated and dynamic App Support Team Lead who is passionate about technology and delivering exceptional service to internal teams.

What you’ll do:

  • 1st line of defense on incoming issues from all sources (stakeholders)
  • Triage issues
  • Clean up issues (investigate)
  • Mature issues (add information, investigation conclusions)
  • Estimate fixability of issues
  • Fix issues the App Support team has the expertise to fix
  • Coordinate with tracks for the issues that need to be handed over to them
  • Technical and line management of the App Support team
  • Recruitment, Training and Mentoring support team members
  • Triage incoming Engineering (Jira) issues from multiple stakeholders
  • Clean up, investigate and classify severity of issues
  • Work with product managers on prioritization
  • Estimate issue solutions
  • Solve or handover to development teams potential solutions

Who you are:

  • 1 - 3 years experience in leading an App Support (or similar) team
  • 3 - 4 years as an Engineer on a App Support team
  • 1 - 2 years experience with GCP
  • 2+ years of Ruby development experience
