Job Purpose:
We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Human Resources Generalist to join and support the US team. Our team is seeking a driven, responsible and resourceful Human Resources representative to support our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. This role will be far from one-dimensional. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will help with the responsibility for providing advice to the employees, producing and maintaining best practice policies and procedures while ensuring that we create the right infrastructure and environment to support the business. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Provide a high level of customer service to assist the HR team and company’s management in HR matters.
- Assist and coordinate the day-to-day running of the recruitment process including advertising and selection process.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
- Ensure all employee information in the HR information system is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in managing travel planning for leadership.
- Maintain clear, regular communications with hiring managers regarding position requirements, sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, interviewing strategies etc.
- Consult with leadership in the areas of workforce planning, succession plans, employee relations, performance, development, benefits, communications and overall people effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with employees and management.
- Undertake any allocated or ad hoc HR projects.
Who you are:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist (1-2 years)
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
- Additional HR training will be a plus
