Nothing is more important than the trust our customers have placed in us. EarnIn Design & Research is responsible for fostering that trust—through diligent customer research and innovative product strategy, all in the service of crafting high-quality user experiences.
This is a Senior-level individual contributor role. Our Designers and Researchers collaborate in cross-functional teams that work collaboratively, autonomously, and rapidly. We’re tasked with solving the company’s most significant challenges as we enjoy rapid growth. For example, we help our customers:
- Please use their money in the most efficient, painless way possible.
- Understand how to make progress with cash.
- Feel a sense of freedom to say “yes” without worrying about finding themselves in financial hot water.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the end-to-end user experience for one or two product verticals, working with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to bring a great experience to life.
- Influence EarnIn’s product vision and design strategy.
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure a consistent experience & design language across our platform.
- Execute and contribute to our design system and processes.
- You have 5+ years of experience working with product teams to ship consumer products.
- You’re a skilled collaborator: you understand how to plan projects, have excellent etiquette around others’ ideas, and can get the best out of your colleagues.
- You have immaculate visual design taste and skills and can apply that taste to extend and enhance EarnIn’s carefully crafted brand identity. This looks like mastery of typography, color, shape, and layout.
- You have industry-leading craft skills. You are highly proficient in Figma.
- Engineers love working with you because you can help them translate your design work into high-quality code.
- You’re prolific - much more of a maker than a talker. You use your work to explore many possible solutions for customer needs.
- You use proven principles and tools across the end-to-end design process.
- Excellent thinking and communication skills (because you’re a designer).
- You’re skilled at arguing for your point of view, designing, and giving/receiving feedback.
- You have a passion for impactful financial technology.
