Position Summary

We are seeking an Analyst to join our extraordinary Treasury team. You will drive the analyses and treasury operations that enable you, our partners, and our leadership to optimize our debt and cash management while ensuring compliance with lender requirements.  You will also help us build and refine processes, systems and reporting for our debt operations. This role requires an analyst with a deep understanding of treasury operations, debt financing and the ability to support managing lender relationships. We need the kind of analyst who understands data, has financial acumen, is detail-oriented, and can clearly articulate emerging issues in a highly dynamic environment to audiences across the company and external partners. The role will report to the VP, Treasurer.

This position will be ideally hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site location. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As Treasury Analyst, you will work on:

  • Cash Operations 
    • Monitor cash balances, make transfers to ensure proper funding
    • Manage short term cash and liquidity management, reporting and forecasting to ensure efficient capital allocation
  • Debt operations 
    • Ensure compliance and efficient funding while optimizing interest costs, maintaining covenant compliance, and supporting operations for warehouse facilities 
    • Manage day-to-day transactional debt ops reporting for lenders and backup servicers 
    • Prepare notifications, monthly compliance reporting, and certifications required per lender agreements 
    • Assist in annual external and internal audit related to treasury and debt operations
    • Partner with internal engineering and finance teams to develop debt-related reporting tools in accordance with lenders’ requirements 
    • Work with Accounting team to perform cash and collections reconciliations
  • Day to day relationship management & support
    • Assist in managing relationships with lenders and banking partners by providing operational and analytical support  
    • Monitor internal product ops and cash flow to ensure proper alignment with debt funding requirements, including product-related money movement
  • Special Projects
    • Optimize the Asset Backed Debt operations process to continuously help minimize interest, optimize liquidity, and streamline processes while managing drawdowns and repayment schedules
    • Build internal treasury reports and dashboards to facilitate automated reporting and capital decisions and aid in capital allocation decisions
    • Participate in cross functional projects, including new product launches from a Treasury angle
    • Assist the internal Money Movement team in payment-related projects
    • Support treasury management system (TMS) implementation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant area of study, or equivalent work experience required, MBA a plus
  • Superior English language skills (written and spoken)
  • 3+ years of professional experience, within Finance or Treasury team in financial services industry or at a high-growth startup (preferably Fintech)
  • Strong financial modeling, proficiency in Excel, and experience with debt reporting tools
  • Familiarity with debt capital markets, structured finance, or warehouse lending with strong business and financial acumen 
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Kyriba, SQL, and Tableau
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, often ambiguous environment
  • Collaborative mindset and experiences working with cross functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for the Fintech industry
