POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented IT Help Desk Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess advanced skills in troubleshooting Mac OSX and Windows, expertise in mobile device management (MDM) workflows, device trust, and zero-trust security principles. Proficiency in VPNs, networking, and the ability to handle high-level projects are essential.

This position requires be hybrid from our Bangkok office as part of our expanding site location with two days a week in-person. EarnIn provides excellent benefits for our employees including healthcare, internet/cell phone reimbursement, a learning and development stipend, and potential opportunities to travel to our Palo Alto HQ. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our organization's mobile devices, as well as implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our data and systems. This will include configuring and managing MacOS and Windows operating systems, MDM platforms such as JAMF Pro, Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace One, and SaaS application user management.

Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are crucial for this role. Demonstrated proficiency in project management is necessary to handle complex projects and deliver high-quality results. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly and efficiently is essential.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance over Slack, email, phone, and web conference
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner, and follow up with users to ensure full resolution
  • Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems, MDM platforms such as JAMF Pro, Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace One, and SaaS application user management
  • Experience with SSO solutions such as Okta
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Zoom, as well as endpoint security solutions
  • Familiarity with Jira project management and service desk platform
  • Experience with new hire onboarding and employee offboarding, including account creation/deletion, access provisioning/de-provisioning, and laptop provisioning/de-provisioning
  • Ability to train users on helpdesk processes, including IT and security policies and practices
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to consider the big picture and consequences during the decision-making process
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and willingness to learn and develop technical and soft skills
  • Scripting experience with PyShell, SQL, etc. is a strong plus
  • Understanding of the importance of documentation
  • Able to work independently and provide high-quality results
