RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will own research & content marketing covering the DeFi space, projects, and trends
    • You will spend your time thinking/exploring/testing, writing, and driving financial education at scale
    • The content will focus on the DeFi landscape comprehensively (including broader web3 areas like DAO’s and NFT’s longer-term). It will also include on-chain analysis of various tokens which can be used by audiences as trading indicators. 
  • Work with the Growth team to define audience segments and refine a strategy for each segment as needed
  • Release a regular schedule of research and content including blog posts, research pieces, AMA’s/podcasts, Twitter/Spaces, Discord rooms, Youtube channel, Periscope, etc
  • Collaborate with dYdX partners to develop and give additional voice to the content
  • Actively engage with the broader dYdX user base in community forums
  • Help develop and manage dYdX’s overall Twitter strategy and posting

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deep knowledge of and passion for everything in DeFi (especially dYdX!) and web3 with a track record
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to develop and ship a consistent pace of multi-channel content, and the ability to manage the content distribution infrastructure as needed
  • Working knowledge around email marketing, SEO & SEM, and social platforms
  • Execution-oriented and self-driven
  • Project management, time management, and ability to multitask
  • Deep desire to ask questions, understand data, and develop hypotheses
  • Strong affinity for social media and memes

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Ideally have an existing personal research/content brand
  • Experience in or knowledge of trading, market structure, and derivatives (particularly in crypto)
  • SQL and data modeling experience
  • 2 years working experience
