RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will manage dYdX’s financial operations and workflows, including:
    • Own development of our financial model and supporting planning, budgeting, and forecasting for new and existing projects
    • Oversee the ongoing tracking and management of our financial and payment workflows
    • Support overall financial and payment needs across the team
    • Drive treasury management optimization and supporting analytics
  • You will work cross-functionally with product, design, and business development to optimize growth marketing strategies focusing on user acquisition, retention, and engagement. You will own, iterate, and prioritize strategies, including:
    • Drive marketing strategy and execution, including targeting, segmentation, product positioning, value propositions, creative messaging, channels (organic, affiliates, paid, partnerships), and budgets
    • Own the content creation and distribution process and manage external communications to market dYdX’s products through various channels
    • Generate, filter, and pursue leads and respond to inbound opportunities
    • Optimise processes for sales, support and CRM
    • Develop analytics using tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Metabase to define and measure campaign metrics

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in an Ops / Finance / Marketing / Growth environment (investment banking, research/data analyst, FP&A roles are just a few examples of good backgrounds)
  • Basic knowledge of financial planning, accounting, and company operations
  • Working knowledge around email marketing, SEO & SEM, and social platforms
  • Execution-oriented with the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get things done
  • Communicate effectively and in a structured manner across all mediums
  • Project management, time management, and ability to multitask
  • Desire and passion to go deep in crypto and DeFi (if no prior experience)

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Experience with trading and markets (particularly crypto)
  • Experience creating compelling consumer content strategies in crypto/fintech
  • SQL experience
