The Global AI Learning & Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in our evolution by equipping our employees with the AI skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in this new era. 

 

Your mission will be to research and identify AI training needs across the agency and introduce new AI tools and techniques. Then, design, develop, and deliver comprehensive AI training and development programs, content, and materials, to support the needs and goals of our employees at all levels.

 

Our ideal candidate is a skilled trainer with professional experience leading and facilitating learning and development programs, as well as extensive knowledge of AI technologies and their application in a professional services context. We are looking for someone to equip our teams, and the agency, with the knowledge and training needed to create change that matters for our clients with the help of AI. 

 

Please note - While we are looking for someone in Chicago, we are also open to candidates in Los Angeles and New York.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of training needs across the agency and within Golin's specialist communities, including the Catalyst, Strategist, Creator, and Connector communities in Golin’s G4 model. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI tools and techniques that can enhance our work and require training. 
  • Develop system-wide training materials and activities, including written guides, intranet content, workshops, seminars, e-learning modules, and hands-on sessions. 
  • Collaborate with the heads of Golin’s specialist communities to ensure training materials are tailored to the unique needs of each group. 
  • Partner with various agency leaders, including geographic managing directors, practice leaders, and current L&D and coaching team members to provide ongoing training around AI. 
  • Identify external partners, resources and thought leaders who can deliver new perspectives and speed Golin’s employee AI enablement. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as necessary to ensure they are up-to-date, impactful, and universally delivered.  Measure the growth of employee AI aptitude over time.  
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and AI best practices within the agency. 
  • Manage an annual global AI learning and development budget, providing regular updates to leadership on investments and returns 
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Chief AI Officer on the integration of AI into agency processes and client services. 

 

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Organization Development or Human Resources.
  • 7+ years professional experience in a Learning and Development, Training, Instructional Design, or complementary field.  
  • Proven experience in learning and development at professional services organizations, preferably within PR, marketing, or creative agencies. 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of AI technologies and their application in a professional services context. 
  • Strong instructional design skills with the ability to create engaging and effective training materials across a variety of formats, for the benefit of employees across a global organization. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
