The Overview:

Are you a Human Resources expert who is passionate about the Entertainment Industry, and loves working with Creatives?

The R&CPMK People and Culture team are looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team of four. Reporting to the Vice President of People and Culture, this HR Business Partner Role will advise multiple Leaders and Teams, across several of our US offices. In addition, you will support our second largest office in New York as the People and Culture lead. We are true generalists, we love the fact we get to influence the whole employee lifecycle, we are searching for someone who wants the same.

The Fine Print:

  • Partner closely with managers to gain insights on their business and team performance. Create and implement people strategies to reach the team’s goals, ensure organizational efficiency, and track progress of strategies and adjust as necessary
  • Maintain trusted relationship with employees of all levels to effectively provide guidance and support in implementing HR initiatives, and in the areas of employee relations, performance management, promotions, transfers, separations, etc.
  • Coach managers and employees on employee relations issues, including disciplinary action meetings and terminations, using independent discretion and judgment
  • Drive Performance Management activities by coaching managers on how to handle performance issues, facilitate discussions between manager and employee, provide guidance to manager and employees throughout performance improvement plans, including terminations as needed
  • Develop and drive implementation of HR policies and initiatives (i.e. Training and Development, Performance Management, Rewards and Recognition, Retention, Compensation Management, Succession Planning, Diversity, etc.)
  • Own onboarding program to include analyzing new hire survey data, ensure high quality of new hire satisfaction, and making recommendations to continually evolve onboarding processes.
  • Analyzes and summarizes HR data to measure success of HR initiatives, to identify trends/issues, and create insights and strategies that can be shared with management.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by understanding existing and new legislation.
  • Act as lead on company wellness program and initiatives, including planning in-house employee wellness activities.
  • Partner with the established office services team to ensure the sooth onboarding and existing employee experience.

The Needs:

Are you someone who has been a trusted advisor, working across full employee life cycle, including but not limited to; performance management, talent management, employee development, employee relations, benefits, HRIS, engagement and retention and onboarding?

  • Minimum of 6+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Entertainment industry or PR/Marketing agency experience preferred.
  • Critical Thinking: Proven ability to conceptualize, communicate, recommend, and implement new strategies and programs.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), particularly in building rapport with business leaders and creatives.
  • Change Management: Ability to suggest and sell new and effective alternatives to current practices.
  • HR Expertise and Business Sense, Strong command of HR regulations, HR and Business practices, and current trends in HR and Business
  • Adaptability: Ability to be able to work and flex in fast paced environment with complex business changes
  • Conflict Management and Mediation: Able to successfully handle and resolve issues, disagreements, and disputes.
  • Client Focus: Consultative and results focused professional, with experience developing meaningful solutions.

Salary: $85,000.00- $105,000.00 annually

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
