THE JOB / CRM Strategist (Strategy)

STRATEGY / Responsible for developing and executing investment recommendations for our clients.

***Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA. We will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates with East Coast working hours as a prerequisite.***

Octagon, the world’s premiere global sports marketing agency, is seeking a Strategist to join its practice to support the planning, management, and execution of a luxury automotive client’s CRM strategies as it relates to sponsorships and events. The role will work across the client’s experiential initiatives in luxury hotel partnerships and culinary programming as well as golf, driving programs, tennis, and motorsports, offering a wide range of exposure to unique and exciting subject matter pillars. THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Manage CRM process for client’s national events; includes managing timelines and registration tracking
  • Coordinate with account teams and vendors in the creation and implementation of the necessary digital solutions needed for each activation including email, registration websites, mobile device assets, and more
  • Compile presentation materials for client meetings
  • Manage and oversee transfer of consumer data from registration platform to client’s consumer database
  • Continuously analyze key metrics and make recommendations that could improve overall program performance
  • Create program recaps on CRM initiatives with key takeaways, insights, and future recommendations
  • Collaborate with clients, account teams, partners, and vendors to implement all CRM initiatives effectively
  • Operationalize and establish best processes for scaling and streamlining reporting
  • Provide on-site support for select events

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with CRM; ability to leverage existing platforms for consumer outreach and reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must). An assignment will be part of the interview process; it will include an excel project and a recap of the work in PPT
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail, understanding the importance of accuracy, as much of the work is consumer and client facing
  • Organized and able to effectively and efficiently manage projects – you know how to keep everything on task and have a keen attention to follow-through
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Low (0-15%)

This position pays $50,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
