In this role, you are the expert in all things digital file prep and the conversion from customer design to flawless project delivery. Dusty’s BIM and VDC teams are crucial in realizing the true Construction Digital Twin where the built project is an exact representation of the digital data. In this role, you are a facilitator, partner, trainer, and coach for innovative construction companies working toward that concept through the utilization of our FieldPrinter layout automation solution.

You will create value for and support our customers’ BIM and VDC teams, to ensure they build capabilities to deliver high-quality Dusty-ready drawings for use by their layout teams and our FieldPrinter. Your technical aptitude for digital construction delivery and your exceptional communication & relationship-building skills will make you successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support customers and internal Dusty team members by completing CAD preparation for layout projects
  • Engage and interact with customers to train and build knowledge on processes necessary for the Dusty system 
  • Equip our customers with skills to be more successful in layout preparation and increase their utilization
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to see how they are using our solution and how it could be improved
  • Collaborate with the broader customer success organization to provide a programmatic, holistic experience for each customer

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in Commercial Construction, Architecture, or Engineering related fields 
  • ~2-4 years of experience drawing and managing documents using Revit 
  • AutoCAD experience is helpful
  • Experience in BIM or VDC management is helpful
  • Technical understanding of materials and methods used in construction
  • Demonstrated strength in interpersonal communication, presentation, organization, planning, and coordination skills
  • Ability to travel to construction sites as needed
  • Thirst for learning

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field
  • In place of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
