DRW is seeking a Credit Risk Manager. This position will responsible for performing daily risk monitoring of many of our counterparty portfolios and for assisting in the ongoing development and enhancement of our credit risk management framework.  

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationship with internal commercial team and represent DRW in credit negotiations with external counterparties 
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis and due diligence of complex projects and structured transactions
  • Knowledgeable of recent market developments and assess their impact on the credit quality of counterparties
  • Running daily credit reports, and monitoring daily credit limits
  • Responsible for the negotiation and structuring of collateral and credit support arrangements in line with internal policies
  • Communicate risk-related information to Commercial and Risk Management teams
  • Provide credit-related reporting to senior management
  • Provide insight into credit best practices, participate in the development of credit risk management strategies and recommend improvements to governing Policies

 Required Experience and Skills:  

  • Candidates must have at least 7+ years’ experience in credit in a trading firm / hedge fund / bank, preferably in the digital assets / crypto sector
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of industry relevant agreements on both trading and asset space (e.g. ISDA, CSA, MPA, MLA, among others)
  • Strong understanding of credit rating models and credit analysis
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-starter, well-organized, strong sense of initiative with the ability to think independently and pro-actively drive work streams through to completion
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, analytical mind and excellent attention to detail, coupled with the ability to work reliably when under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in quantitative field desirable
