The Office & Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of various company activities and events. In addition to being an integral member of the Facilities team by taking care of various administrative and office related tasks.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Plan and facilitate all company-wide events, activities, and team-buildings from conception to execution
  • Manage budgets and contracts
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors
  • Create marketing material for various DRW sponsored events
  • Keep track of employees’ accomplishments (marriages, milestones, babies, work anniversaries, etc.)
  • Annual vendor holiday gifts/cards
  • Maintain conference rooms and bedrooms
  • Coordinate small facilities repairs (light bulb changes, installations, etc.) with building’s maintenance team
  • Clean and tidy public office spaces
  • Running errands and performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Frequently check office supply stock; reorder supplies when needed
  • Back-up for Reception (1 day a week full coverage of reception for a mat leave replacement)

You’ll feel right at home if you:

  • High school diploma or higher education
  • Bilingual
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook for email and calendaring and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Confidence, initiative, and the ability to learn new things quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented and extremely accurate
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize and take direction from multiple sources
  • Creative and an out of the box thinker
  • A knowledge in Photoshop, Canva or other design platforms is an asset
  • Detail oriented and extremely accurate
  • Flexible
