Currently, we are recruiting for an interesting and challenging hybrid role in our IT division. The position is designed for a highly experienced professional responsible for researching, designing and setting up complex systems worldwide. The focus will be on combining hardware and software products to create ultra-high performance systems. A successful candidate must have excellent problem solving and problem identifying skills, attention to detail, and an ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 

We are seeking a Data Center Specialist that has a passion both for cutting edge technology and traditional project management techniques as well as programming and scripting skills. This role will allow you to manage new infrastructure projects from conception to delivery and be an integral part of building and maintaining our network.  

What you’ll be working on:

  • Analyzing and researching internet and cloud infrastructures and technologies
  • Working closely with other teams to establish business requirements to design and maintain cutting edge systems with focus on web technologies
  • Scripting and software development to produce indebt data analysis and automation
  • Analyzing and planning deployments and upgrades of IT infrastructure in our worldwide data centers
  • Managing inter data center connectivity
  • Facilitating complex IT infrastructure and service projects in the following areas: network planning and upgrades, telecommunications, data centers and systems
  • Effectively managing multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Working with external vendors and service providers to develop, evaluate and integrate technology enhancements and new functionalities
  • Many interesting new projects, which involve in-depth knowledge of computer science, network protocols, technologies, scientific research, innovative thinking and more!

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering, focused on networking or IT with management background
  • Minimum 4 years work experience and significant proven track record in the financial technology industry or other equivalent high-tech industry
  • Understanding of risk, impact and critical nature of short and long term projects
  • Profound experience in information technology management 
  • Solid understanding of how the web works
  • Programming and scripting skills for automation and system migration
  • In-depth knowledge of systems analysis, development, planning and documentation methods and standards 
  • Extensive technical knowledge of data centers, connectivity, IT systems, power, infrastructure and networks
  • Experience installing, upgrading and configuring Operating Systems (Linux, Windows, Hypervisors)
  • Ability to maintain network equipment, servers and structured cabling systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and Layer 1, 2 and 3 connectivity problems (sometimes after hours) in a structured approach
  • Adept at detailed documentation
