Drop Mobility

Drop Mobility enables sustainable, local, micro-mobility for cities. We are tackling our generation's biggest challenges around climate change and congested city infrastructure.

Our team builds best-in-class devices (e-bikes, etc) and the end-to-end software platform for vertically-integrated, locally branded, micro-mobility solutions for our municipal and institutional partners.

The role

You will be responsible for product development and report to the engineering team

  • Feature development connecting front-end, backend, and IoT hardware
  • Tracking success through metrics and analytics
  • Designing and communicating potential features to internal and external stakeholders
  • Be able to prioritize feedback, develop processes and frameworks and effectively communicate the to stakeholders
  • Participate in a Q/A (and CI) process that maintains high availability and reliability across our services
  • Coordination between other teams
    • Hardware and software collaboration
    • Interface with ops, sales, and customer success

What you bring

  • You have 2+ years of experience in a product development role, ideally within a fast-moving startup environment
  • You have a history and interest in crafting user-centric experiences across both web and mobile products
  • You are competent in both design and engineering
    • Reactive programming: React JS or Flutter experience
    • Competent with NodeJS backends
    • Familiarity with design tools: Figma or Sketch
    • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
    • Be competent with the architecture of services, including load balancers, continuous integration and scaling instances
