About the role:
The Executive Assistant will support Droit’s CEO, CFO, CTO, and General Counsel, managing schedules and travel, assisting with expense management and reporting and organizing and helping execute meetings with Droit’s Board of Directors. In this role you’ll also play a critical role in planning team and firmwide meetings and supporting a variety of functions, including People & Development, Brand/Marketing, and Finance & Business Operations.

This role requires outstanding planning, time management, communication and organizational skills. Poise under pressure is a must. Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple requests is critical. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is required and strong professionalism and excellent judgment in dealing with colleagues and external contacts is imperative.
What you’ll do in this role:
Executive Assistant
- Provide executive administrative support for the CEO, CFO, CTO, and General Counsel. Effectively manage their calendars, travel and team meetings.
- Schedule internal/external meetings, appointments, and conference/video calls.
- Organize All-Employee meetings, sourcing topics when needed and handling all logistics.
- Collaborate closely with EA and Office Management colleagues in New York and London.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and source accommodation options.
- Review travel and expense reports using Certify.
- Draft and edit correspondence and materials, e.g. memos, letters, and emails; editing and proofreading documents.
- Provide light phone coverage, screen calls, and record messages
Board of Directors Planning
- Organize Quarterly Board meetings, ad hoc Board conference calls, and CEO executive sessions.
- Liaise with Board members.
- Support presentation materials preparation.
Collective Ambition Planning
- Take the lead on planning and organizing Droit’s annual Collective Ambition session, including identifying and confirming date and location, liaising with event space around food, beverage and AV/technical needs, assisting in the creation of agenda and event materials, and managing on-site logistics day of the event.
Office Management Support
- Provide support and back-up for New York Office Manager including managing weekly food, beverage and meal orders, helping with on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, liaising with office vendors (IT support, landlord, cleaning and maintenance staff, etc.), registering guests with the building, and creating passes for office access.
Ad Hoc Projects
- Support the People & Development, Brand/Marketing, and Business Operations teams in ad hoc projects as assigned
- Plan colleague events.
- On site location support for business events.
- Provide back up to other EA in both New York and London.
What we are looking for:
- Must have at least 8+ years of Executive Assistant or administrative experience. Start-up experience is desirable.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or Google equivalents), Outlook, Certify, and internet research as needed.
- Prior experience includes providing leverage through highly effective calendar management and scheduling.
- Experience and comfort with IT / AV equipment and set-ups, ability to help troubleshoot and ensure a smooth conference room set-up as required.
- Positive approach and demeanor with can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Able to anticipate issues earlier and take action.
- Operates with a high sense of urgency and responsiveness.
- Poise under pressure.
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and technical capabilities.
- Able to work with minimal direction, exercise good judgment, and work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Prior success in roles that clearly required maintaining confidentiality and using good judgment in making decisions.
- Core hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ET daily with flexibility as needed and accessibility outside of office hours to assist with time sensitive matters and international travel.
- Expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.

NYC Salary information:
We estimate that the base salary for this NYC-based role will be $85,000 - $125,000, plus equity, inclusion in Droit's discretionary bonus program, and benefits. Individual salaries are determined by factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education.
