About the Role
DriveWealth is seeking a legal intern to join our dynamic team during the summer of 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a current law school student to support the legal team in all aspects of DriveWealth’s business.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the legal and regulatory operations teams to advise sales, product, compliance, operations, and technology on legal matters related to DriveWealth's relationships, product offerings, workflows, and compliance initiatives.
- Analyze and guide relevant rules, regulations, and trends in the financial services industry.
- Conduct first-level reviews of contracts, including NDAs, carrying agreements, and vendor agreements.
- Provide support on special projects with a team-oriented approach.
What You’ll Need
- Current enrollment as a law student; second-year students preferred.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in fintech and finance.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A mindset focused on process improvement.
- Strong ownership of tasks with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative work ethic with the legal team and other DriveWealth teams.
- Capacity to manage multiple competing projects and priorities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a JD degree with a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026.
- Be available full-time and in-person for 40 hours per week
- Must reside in the NY metro area; relocation support will not be provided.
- Must be available from Monday, June 2, 2025, to Friday, August 15, 2025.

Compensation
Compensation package offerings are based on candidate experience and technical qualifications, as it relates to the role. These are identified and determined throughout your interviewing experience.
Please note: this role is expected to come into our office on a cadence set by the Hiring Manager/Team.
