What will you do?
- Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand game requirements.
- Take the lead in developing automated test scripts for functional, API, and regression testing.
- Create effective automation test strategies and plans.
- Define technical direction of auto-test solutions as the QA Automation Team Lead
- Review and enforce coding standards, ensuring teams adhere to best practices in test automation.
- Develop and maintain Python scenarios to collect performance metrics in all areas.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the automated testing department.
- Develop, improve and be responsible for the direction of automation on the project.
- Refine and improve the client framework, backend and validation checks.
What we are looking for?
- Strong experience in a QA automation lead role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA, methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and good communication skills.
- Experience in creating and improving frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, for example Python
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Experience in test documentation preparation (test plans, suites, scenarios, and checklists).
- Understanding of technologies such as Git or P4, Kibana, TeamCity, Docker .
- Understanding of technologies such as SQL, SSH.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Experience in game development projects (an MMOFPS project would be an advantage).
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity.
