Position Overview

The Classification Operations team plays a critical role in product development at DV by providing data and insights that help drive machine learning/AI initiatives. As a Content Labeling Associate on the team, you’ll work to ensure the quality of DV classifications by analyzing and labeling videos, images and other social media content, focusing on content that advertisers need to classify correctly to avoid topics like profanity, and target topics that are inline with advertiser’s target audience preferences and priorities. 

You’ll work independently and collaboratively within the AI Curation team and other teams internationally to develop DV’s classification technologies.

You’ll build on your knowledge of the ad tech industry, the growing field of data labeling, and the online space across international markets. You’ll also learn popular tools and the latest state of the art technologies such as Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Artificial intelligence tools, as well as valuable skills that will help meet the needs of top advertising clients across industries, and you’ll contribute towards the mission of making the digital ecosystem safer, more transparent and sustainable.

This position requires understanding of the English and Spanish language (primarily text in English and text & audio in Spanish).

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Categorize, tag, label, and evaluate textual and visual data across web and social platforms
  • Provide judgements for data labeling/annotating or classification based on independent interpretation of guidelines and policies
  • Support development teams by providing labeled datasets for machine learning training and other initiatives
  • Provide feedback and proactively identify issues to respective teams

Skills & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in subject areas related to media, psychology, sociology, journalism, linguistics or information science
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) 
  • High proficiency/fluent knowledge of English and Spanish 

 

The successful candidate’s suitability will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience and location

The monthly pay range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is $1400 per month. This role will also be eligible for an annual bonus (as applicable)
