Double Good Creative Director

The Creative Director sets the vision and strategy for the creative team and provides creative leadership for the Double Good brand. This person ensures an environment that motivates the department to deliver excellent, strategic creative work. This role will maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, as well as ensuring that work delivers against Double Good standards.

The right candidate will capture the essence of our brand through all creative executions and engage audiences on any platform. Candidates  should have a pulse on new and creative industry trends and a creative sensibility that extends across content genres. You excel at building strong cross-functional relationships in fast paced organization with ambiguity. You will inspire our team and creative partners to bring great creativity to life with flawless execution. You should have top-notch project management and organizational skills. A powerful passion for television, film, and pop culture is a requirement.

MUST HAVES:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience including 3 years of management experience with growing responsibility as a creative leader.
  • A minimum of 15 years experience in an agency environment, or relevant creative field.
  • All candidates must possess a portfolio showcasing an extensive understanding of all creative disciplines, with a T-shaped focus on at least one. For example; conceptual art direction, copywriting, graphic design, user experience, film and motion, and more.
  • Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal and interdepartmental.
  • Thought leadership; a strong point of view; ability to contribute to strategic development of an assignment; creative ideas and the ability to promote conceptual thinking among the team.
  • A strong ability and experience in leading, directing and managing a group of cross-disciplinary teams.
  • A solid understanding of digital media as well as the marketing industry at large; an ability and a desire to adapt to the changing landscape of technology.
