About the Team
DoorDash Drive is our hypergrowth fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States and Internationally. As an associate on our Drive Restaurants team, you’ll be responsible for articulating and executing our go-to-market strategy for various growth initiatives as well as partnering with our largest and most strategic clients in order to understand needs and develop solutions to better serve them.
Drive is a white label order fulfillment service where our Merchants receive orders from their own customers. Using their native channels, the Merchant is responsible for ingesting the order, tendering customers’ payment, and requesting the dasher from DoorDash. See here for more information.
About the Role
Drive is the fastest growing part of DoorDash, and the Drive Restaurants business still has a ton of room to grow. Clients with existing delivery fleets represent a significant strategic opportunity to the business. As an Associate for DoorDash Drive's Strategy & Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving our growth and success. As a direct owner of this segment, you will be critical in helping us to build and execute on our growth strategy across some of the largest and most strategic clients to help us launch and scale our partnerships: understanding their needs, developing products, and partnering cross-functionally to bring solutions forward.
As the General Manager of Drive for Canada, you will be the sole driver of our 1P growth strategy within the country. This pivotal role involves single-handedly spearheading the expansion and development of DoorDash Drive's fulfillment services in Canada. You will take full ownership of building and scaling our business operations, forging new partnerships, and executing strategic initiatives to capture market share and drive significant revenue growth. Your ability to understand local market dynamics, address merchant needs, and implement effective solutions will be crucial in establishing DoorDash Drive as the premier fulfillment platform in Canada.

- Dive into data, talking to merchants and customers, and obsessing over the details to make sure we create value for our merchants
- Grow a profitable product within a high-growth business by developing tailored growth/marketing strategies by leveraging DoorDash technology and products
- Work closely with cross-functional partners from Product, Engineering, Analytical, Support, Business Development and Sales, and Marketing to drive execution and excellence on behalf of our merchant partners and align company-wide resources to make our product even better
- Analyze complex data sets paired with partner team feedback to provide insights and recommendations to our leadership
- Steer the scaling and optimization of operations and quality across Drive
We’re excited about you because…
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, business development/sales, or operations; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus
- You imagine, develop, and execute on workstreams from start to completion with little oversight
- You are resourceful and can engage other teams and resources to independently figure out answers to nebulous questions
- You oscillate easily from strategic considerations to tactical execution
- Are a self-starter who is energized by a difficult problem
