About the Role
As Manager of our New Verticals Strategy & Operations business, you will be responsible for leading growth initiatives across the New Verticals International business, impacting Canada and Australia. You will lead short term execution and long term strategy, grow our topline volume, ideate on our promotion strategy, and lead our go-to-market for new verticals that we enter, as well as so much more! You will also lead a small team of individual contributors.

- Build. You’ll have your fingerprints all over DoorDash’s New Verticals business, across small, medium and enterprise businesses. You’ll do whatever it takes to launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details.
- Strategize. From first principles, you’ll support in developing the optimal strategy for best serving our customers.
- Experiment. You’ll transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes, informing your larger initiative implementation plans.
- Analyze. You’ll analyze the customer and use that data to inform strategy. You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data.

- You work to get 1% better every day – You're always looking for opportunities to better your work product and own the outcome – both the good and the bad
- You have 6+ years experience in consulting, finance or related strategy and operations experience
- You are an owner - you have a demonstrated success of owning a P&L management
- You are leader - you managed teams in the past for at least 3+ years
- You are an industry expert - you are familiar with retail and grocery industry
Compensation
The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
