About the Team
DoorDash is looking for a talented Senior Manager to join our Strategy & Operations team. The Strategy & Operations team at DoorDash works cross-functionally, makes strategic decisions and executes initiatives to ensure that DoorDash meets its ambitious objectives. While there is no typical day for our Strategy and Operations roles, you will work on a variety of tasks such as: gathering and analysing consumer data, translating your insights into a high-level vision and operational plan, and delivering the plan both by “do-ing” and leading cross-functional teams.
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Manager to be the overall owner of customer lifecycle for DoorDash Australia. This role will design the strategy and lead the implementation of initiatives across pricing, promotions and product merchandising. The consumer team will own the growth, frequency and overall value of our customer base and be responsible for initiatives that touch all parts of the Consumer's journey.
This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and is hybrid, allowing you to work from the office and when you need the flexibility, you can work remotely.

- Lead and collaborate - You’ll lead a rockstar team, collaborate with many cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales and operations all of whom will be critical to our collective success in building customer experience excellence in our market
We’re excited about you because you have…
- 8+ years of experience - consulting, strategy, operations, product, technology, banking, analytics experiences are highly valued, with experience developing best-in-class digital customer experiences and conversion funnels a plus. Knowledge of experience with a three-sided marketplace is also a plus
- Strong business acumen - you are able to identify the “so what” from data, interdependencies between teams, and translate them into an operational strategy which directly moves observable data points across the business
- The ability to operate at the lowest level of detail - you are a problem solver, love getting into the data (Spreadsheet and SQL/dashboarding experience preferred) to inspire your team through insight and action
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership - comfortable in a highly-visible role, you ‘carry the flag’ for the customer and can collaborate and influence effectively and ‘set-the-pace’ for the rest of the team on how we achieve success collectively
- You have grit - you are a true operator, you understand that no problem is too big or too small and our top performers are customer obsessed, breaking through any barrier to do the best for our Customers, Merchants and Dashers.
