About the Role

DoorDash is in search of a Senior Manager to join the SMB team, tasked with overseeing the SMB Account Managers & Account Development team across ANZ. This role will drive strategy, direction, execution, and innovation for our Partnership Managers and merchant partners alike.

The DoorDash ANZ SMB team is responsible for the strategic vision, growth, and development of the local hero partnerships across Australia and New Zealand. Given the scale of our partners, this role is critical to DoorDash's growth and success in every market in which we operate. As a key leader of the SMB Post sale & Partnership team, you'll be responsible for the team's growth goals by delivering an operational game plan for the growth of our merchants, for increased rep work efficiency, and work cross functionally with marketing, operations, strategy and product teams to drive our business forward.

  • Team Leadership - Manage a team of high-performing SMB Partner Managers whose role is a hybrid of Account Management & Account Development. These reps are responsible for growing and driving revenue for our existing merchant partners.
  • Strategic Vision - Engage partners in growth strategy conversations and collaborate with them to develop Joint Business Plans.
  • Operational Excellence - Drive forward operational improvement with your team and partners to ensure that together we're delivering the best experience for DoorDash customers.
  • Cross Collaboration - Work with key internal stakeholders to help resolve escalated issues and unlock opportunities at pace.
  • Own Outcomes - This role is responsible for delivering the growth and retention of our key accounts across 3 different capital OKRs for DoorDash; the person in it will display ownership in the inputs and outputs that drive performance towards those goals.

We're excited about you because you have…

  • 6-8 years' experience in SMB sales, client success, or account management.
  • 4+ years of people leadership, managing teams, and people leaders in a hyper-growth environment
  • Proven success working in cross-functional teams (e.g., with product, marketing, and operations) to build creative solutions
  • High growth, entrepreneurial or startup experience
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills
