About the Team
The Business Applications team is a crucial part of our Merchant Product organization, which builds upon the DoorDash vision of connecting local delivery networks in cities all across the world. Impact is the name of the game for our Business Applications team, as the team executes major initiatives to drive internal efficiency in our merchant product organization and strategically enables internal teams to exceed objectives. Team goals to understand interactions and contact history from a user-first perspective -- after all, knowing a user’s experience is key! Now more than ever, we need strategic thinkers and problem solvers who can help us reach our North Star goals.
About the Role
As an AWS Cloud Developer on the Business Applications team, you will closely partner with our business transformation team as the lead expert on all things AWS. You will work to design all facets of our application built on Amazon Connect, which is integrated with Salesforce and associated applications, from concept to implementation. You will provide technical guidance to your direct team as well as the business on leveraging AWS tools for automation. You will report into an Engineering Manager on our Business Applications team in our Merchant Product organization.

- Provide technical leadership on different AWS services.
We’re excited about you because…
- 5-7 years of industry experience leading technical projects that are in AWS Cloud Automation and Administration.
- Experience with open technologies like Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, DevSecOps and related Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, JIRA, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, GitHub, Puppet, Git and others.
- Experience in AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo, AWS API Gateway, AWS S3, Amazon Connect Streams, Glue, Kinesis, Athena.
- Programming skills in Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- SQL query writing and data analysis.
