To further that mission, the B2B Marketing team helps Merchants succeed with DoorDash - navigating them through every step of their DoorDash journey and empowering them with the right, personalized resources, education, and suite of solutions to maximize their business. We do this by building lasting relationships with our B2B audiences through personalized, scalable, cross-channel experiences that drive education and retention. We take pride in being the trusted advisor to our SMB Merchants, and the prominent Merchant advocate to our partners. 

About the Role

As the Manager, Retention Marketing, Merchant you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of communications and lifecycle programs to increase engagement and retention of our post-sales Merchant Partners across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. You will define and own business metrics, and collaborate with all parts of the business to create CRM campaigns that have an impact on the sales and growth of our Merchant partners and the greater DoorDash business.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

  • Responsible for creating and executing CRM strategies to engage, educate and and retain merchants throughout their post-sale lifecycle. 
  • Manage end-to-end development and execution of email campaigns. Including driving the creative review process with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments, and capturing feedback from stakeholders. 
  • Create detailed customer journey flows with actionable trigger points with both static and dynamic content to drive conversion and engagement
  • Establish a strong working relationship with cross-functional stakeholders in our Product, Operations, Analytics, Sales, and Marketing teams 
  • Create the strategy and framework for the rapid testing in CRM channels
  • Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, and create and share regular performance reports

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • 6 + years experience in Retention Marketing, Email Marketing or CRM Operations; B2B experience a plus.
  • Expertise with CRM technology including Marketing Automation platforms and CRM tools (e.g. Iterable, HubSpot).
  • 1-2 years of people management is preferred. 
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships and consensus on initiatives.
  • Passion for customer experience and increasing the value of customers. 
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns end to end
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $122,400 - $165,600, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
