About the Role

It’s an exciting time to join our rapidly growing accounting team with ample development opportunities. We're looking for a Payroll Manager in the APAC region to support our rapid growth’s payroll needs and build out our payroll process and standardize payroll operations.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  •  Manage day-to-day payroll activities to ensure compliance with local regulations/ employment laws, internal policies/controls, and external audits
  • Oversee and being accountable for the accuracy and completeness of payroll results 
  • Interact with external vendors to ensure the SLA is met and able to manage ad hoc payroll needs and system update.
  • Review payroll output and conduct payroll reconciliations and prepare reporting packages. 
  • Be the primary payroll operation contact for internal business partners and external audit. This includes running detailed payroll reports, coordinating, and providing information to our HR, FP&A, Corp tax and legal partners.
  • Responsible for local and statutory payroll filings and compliance of local labor/payroll rules.  Responsible for any government related payroll inquiries and audits
  • Reply to tax notices, wage orders, unemployment claims and government correspondences related to payroll
  • Administer employee reimbursement  
  • Be the primary face to employees for payroll related questions. 
  • Actively seeking process improvements and being a driving force in payroll/accounting related projects. 
  • Staying up to date with local payroll, compliance, and accounting rules.

  • 6+ years of hands on multi-APAC country payroll operation experience
  • Detailed oriented and well versed in local payroll rules and regulations
