About the Team

DoorDash is looking for a Senior Tax Technology Analyst to join our growing Tax Team. You will be an essential contributor to the Tax Team and will support the technology needs of the indirect tax function. 

As DoorDash continues to grow its global footprint across multiple business lines, we are looking for a candidate with experience implementing and configuring indirect tax engines. You will also support and grow our unique social community with your blend of technology and technical indirect tax knowledge.

About the Role

You will report to the Tax Technology Manager on our Tax team. Once our offices reopen, this role can be performed 100% remotely or hybrid with some in-office depending on individual preference. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Help identify our indirect tax systems needs and define requirements.
  • Configure tax systems for tax determination, calculation and reporting.
  • Participate in new business initiatives system(s) and processes.
  • Support analytic tools to meet indirect tax compliance needs.
  • Participate in defining the Company's indirect tax technology needs, including the maintenance of existing systems.
  • Participate in system testing.
  • Prepare documentation related to our indirect tax systems.
  • Provide support to the business in addressing merchant and customer tax requests.
  • Support ongoing projects and business initiatives.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 4+ yrs of indirect tax technology experience.
  • You have experience with indirect taxes.
  • You have experience implementing and configuring Vertex or similar indirect tax software applications.
  • You have experience using productivity programs, (Microsoft Office, Google (G-sheets, docs and slides). Familiarity with and use of Alteryx.
  • You have your BA/BS Degree in Accountancy, or a similar field of study.
  • Vertex Certified Implementer certification is a plus
  • CMI, or CMI candidate is a plus

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $101,745 - $137,655, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
