About the Team

The Enterprise Strategy & Operations team is responsible for maximizing team performance and serving as trusted partners to sales leadership in our Enterprise Partnerships & Business Development organization. This broader team is responsible for the acquisition and strategic development of our largest revenue driving partnerships across all geographies and business lines at DoorDash. To achieve this, the Enterprise Strategy & Operations team builds strategic plans, executes go-to-market playbooks, builds processes, and partners with cross-functional teams to solve our toughest problems.

About the Role

As our Strategic Planning & Operations Senior Manager, you’ll partner with heads of business development verticals and central strategy teams to craft quarterly, annual, and long range strategic growth plans. You’ll own business reviews and strategy forums for a C-team audience. Additionally, you’ll consult internally, providing go-to-market guidance for top company initiatives. You’ll also support relevant strategic areas and special projects across the organization and directly for our Global Head of Enterprise Business Development.

You’ll report into the head of Enterprise Strategy & Growth on the Enterprise Strategy & Operations team.

  • Be responsible for developing the strategy and execution for new growth initiatives across all business verticals and geographies at DoorDash
  • Manage cross-functional projects with our sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, business operations and finance teams to solve challenging business problems at scale
  • Represent the organization in high visibility strategy forums
  • Regularly work closely with senior business development leads and stakeholders
  • Help to craft and refine the long term vision of this new function

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 8+ years of experience in strategic business planning, business operations, business development, strategy consulting, or Chief of Staff functions; high-growth startup experience is preferred
  • You’re an experienced program manager, working with senior stakeholders and influencing cross-functionally to drive outcomes; able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, create action plans, report on progress
  • You’re a problem solver who uncovers areas to improve with high bias towards proactive solutioning. Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast paced environment
  • You’re an exceptional verbal communicator, able to express a complex idea clearly and simply for an executive level audience
  • You have experience authoring strategic documentation and plans aligned to top company priorities

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $136,935 - $185,265, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
