DashMart is a new team at DoorDash focused on building a new type of convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customers’ doorsteps. 

About the Role

We’re looking to hire a Manager, Inventory Analytics who will be a pivotal data-driven leader as the DashMart business continues to scale. This person will be responsible for understanding our inventory data and metrics at the lowest level of detail, and driving progress in our tooling, analytics, and reporting. They are a versatile, cross-functional team player, comfortable analyzing data in SQL and spreadsheets, completing analyses to understand metric movement and operational implications, and driving initiatives to improve our inventory health across teams. They will work with the Product & Engineering teams, Data Science & Machine Learning, Finance, and Operations to build tooling and reporting to scale our business. The Manager will report into the Manager, Inventory Strategy on our Inventory & Supply Chain team in our DashMart organization.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Develop a deep understanding of the DashMart business and our inventory management strategy
  • Use SQL to build new tooling, develop process-enabling reporting, and debug existing analysis
  • Deep-dive OOS drivers across the DashMart business; coordinate with local operations, vendor management, supply chain, and cross-functional partners to identify key opportunities at the store-, category-, and supplier-level
  • Spend time at DashMart locations understanding local inventory processes and pain points; develop solutions & implement best practices
  • Be an expert on all things out-of-stock - understand whether our reliability is improving or degrading, why, and what we can do about it

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 4-8 years of experience in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related field
  • You are proficient in SQL & Excel
  • You are open to travel - this role may require 10-20% travel time
  • You have a proven track record of leading initiatives, working cross-functionally to achieve goals, and succeeding in a team environment
  • You are detail-oriented and organized
  • You have effective written and verbal communication skills

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $115,000 - $149,000, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
