About the Team

DoorDash Drive is our hyper-growth fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers and retailers across the United States and Canada. The Drive Retail team determines the strategy on how to meet merchant partners where their needs are, solves complicated operational problems to better serve our partners, their customers, and our Dashers, and is engaged with our cross-functional partners to ensure we have the processes in place to 10x our business. 

About the Role

We are looking for someone to join our Retail rocketship on Drive - DoorDash’s white label fulfillment product - to scale business with the biggest Enterprise partners in the world and unlock accessibility to local retailers on their own terms. You are a first-principles thinker who is both a strategist and a builder. Reporting to the Manager, Retail, you’ll work with product, sales, business development, and other teams to make your vision a reality, all while owning the operational and financial success of the business today.

  • Steer the development, adoption and scaling of Retail Drive business

  • Author long term business plans alongside collaborators and customers to grow our businesses together, thinking at a deeply strategic level about the success now and 5-10+ years out 
  • Own operations for our existing core business and set the foundation for strong operations in years to come; no detail is too small and you are excited to roll your sleeves up 
  • Execute product testing and roll-outs on the ground; you are a cross functional success enabler 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across DoorDash to align companywide resources to help build-out our fulfillment business

About You

  • You have 4-8 years of experience.  You’ve succeeded in a competitive, or challenging environment.

Bonus Points

  • You have experience in managing a complex P&L. 
  • You have a demonstrated interest in logistics, on-demand services, and marketplaces.
  • You have experience in the retail industry.
  • You have experience with and are fluent in SQL.
