About the Role:

Our Advertising & Promotion team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences. We provide digital solutions to help advertisers reach all DoorDash audiences (consumer, dasher, and merchant). You will be a driver of DoorDash's growth in the United States, Canada, and Australia and will work with sales, strategy & operations, product, and the company's senior leadership team to drive our business forward.

As the director of our Ads & Promotions Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to directly influence our business strategies in this area. You will be scaling out a team that will support the product roadmap, GTM strategies, sales strategies, and more.

  • Own overall strategy support for the ads & promotion business line
  • Build out a team to provide full analytics support for the product and strategy teams
  • Drive innovation on ads optimization and efficiency
  • Build 0 to 1 products for new merchant categories

We’re excited about you because…

  • 10+ years data science experience with a Bachelor or Master degree or 8+ years with a PhD in relevant fields
  • 6+ years direct manager experience
  • 5+ years direct experience in driving ads or marketing product strategies
  • Strong executive communication skills 
  • SQL mastery 
  • Python or R mastery
  • Experience with experimentation (A/B testing, diff-in-diff experiments) 
  • Experience with product analytics
  • Experience with multivariable modeling 
  • Operations experience is a plus
