A role in the Procurement team at DoorDash provides a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate strategic sourcing skills in a steep and fulfilling learning curve to expand both business and procurement experience, and a platform to improve a growing team in a expanding business. About the Role

Develop and manage a Global Travel program including supplier selection and management across all modes of business travel, meetings and events, T&E cards, TMC, and all tools used from booking to expense reconciliation. You'll be asked to partner with strategic sourcing of suppliers, supplier management, heavy collaboration with company partner (Collaborators), serving as the escalation point on Travel matters, compliance monitoring, and reporting.

You will report into Senior Manager of Corporate Services on our Strategic Procurement team in our Finance & Strategy organization.

  • Build a Global Travel program to help improve employee productivity and the employee experience, while reducing liabilities, achieving cost reductions and finding efficiencies
  • Have a visible and collaborative role that will touch every part of our business globally
  • Lead global projects, negotiate deals, and manage a broad range of suppliers (Air, Ground, Hotel, Meetings & Events, T&E Cards, Travel Management Company, Tools used to facilitate booking to expense settlement process)
  • Bring a customer-centric approach to resolving issues
  • Benchmark and facilitate best practices
  • Analyze compliance; improve improvements through reporting and recommendations

We're excited about you because…

  • Have 5+ years of experience procuring Travel and managing suppliers in the Travel area
  • Have managed a Corporate Travel policy, and have performed Travel reporting, with a focus on supporting compliance with Travel policies, including identifying and making recommendations
  • Have developed Strategic Travel category plans
  • Have collaborated with a broad set of internal departments/functions, resolving issues quickly and effectively
