About the Role

As the Senior Manager of CRM Marketing, you will be responsible for building communication and lifecycle programs to increase retention and engagement of our Merchant and DoorDash For Work Partners across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. You will define and own business metrics, and collaborate with all parts of the business to create and execute CRM strategies that move retention metrics and support our Merchants and DoorDash For Work partners.

What You’ll Do 

  • Responsible for creating and executing CRM strategies to activate, onboard, engage, educate, upsell, and retain Merchants throughout their post-sale lifecycle
  • Support and build a team, coaching, mentoring, and developing your teammates.
  • Manage end-to-end development and execution of email campaigns. Includes driving the creative review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments, and capturing feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Create detailed customer journey flows with actionable triggers to drive conversion and engagement based on customer insights 
  • Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Operations, Analytics, Sales, and Marketing 
  • Set up and monitor complex journeys, triggers, and automations with static and dynamic content 
  • Create the strategy and framework for the rapid testing in CRM channels
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Tech/Ops teams to manage marketing automation platforms 
  • Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, and create and share regular performance reports

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in B2B retention marketing, customer engagement, or CRM operations
  • Results-oriented with an exceptional track record of developing profitable retention programs and exceeding performance targets
  • People management experience a must
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships and consensus on initiatives
  • Passion for customer experience and increasing the value of customers 
  • Familiarity with CRM technology including Marketing Automation platforms and CRM tools; Iterable or HubSpot experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns end to end
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree a plus
