The newly launched International Strategy and Operations team develops, executes, and operates DoorDash's International Growth and Expansion Strategy. This lean group of operators will create the plan to guide our next wave of growth, launch new countries and optimize operations across current international markets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the company's top growth priorities.

About the Role

S&O Directors are a critical piece of DoorDash's success in every market. This is an exciting, business-side, startup role. There's no such thing as a typical day, and to excel, you can't just be smart – you have to be self-motivated, have exceptional interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and be highly analytical.

S&O Directors handle everything from identifying geographic expansion opportunities to solving tough, cross-cutting international strategic and operational “problems.” They also oversee the development of our global expansion roadmap. As a leader on the newly launched International Team, the Director will scope new countries, creating a launch roadmap and developing the go to market strategy for each new geography.

Our best Strategy and Operations Directors are analytical and data-driven problem solvers who are motivated to make the business successful. We're looking for the top .01% of performers who can move fast, have a natural experience blending creativity and analytics to promote creative solutions, and are excited by the idea of bringing DoorDash to the world.
