About the Team

The Sales Compliance team designs and ensures Sales Compliance and Controls across DoorDash's sales organization. The Sales Compliance team is part of the larger Sales Strategy & Operations team which accelerates productivity and develops go-to-market strategies to support our sales organization. This group builds the engine and foundation for DoorDash to achieve the best selection for our platform and grow revenues across our all services.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Compliance Program Manager who will work as a member of DoorDash's Sales Compliance and Operations team. You will work with our Sales, Finance, Accounting, Product, and Legal teams to implement best contract practices, manage contract content as well as our web tools and overall contract program integrity at DoorDash. You will continue to build the framework for contract compliance at DoorDash and make sure the processes implemented are scalable. A successful Program Manager works well across teams and drives team and Sales Representative compliance, and eliminate our third-party risk from a legal and financial perspective. This role is on our Sales Strategy and Operations team within our Merchant Organization and you will report directly to our Director, Sales Compliance.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Be the primary contact across Sales, Finance, Accounting and Legal for all things related to contracts
  • Create operational procedures for contract compliance
  • Develop and implement contract sales enablement tools
  • Lead sales trainings on new contract compliance
  • Lead internal audits across different sales-related departments to 1) track rep compliance and 2) ensure that the terms of the contract are accomplished
  • Flag unique contract structures to Finance/Accounting to ensure revenue recognition and forecasting
  • Engage with independent auditors and data security teams as needed
  • Help with other legal/accounting/finance related projects as needed
  • Help eliminate DoorDash's third-party risk from a legal and financial perspective

We're excited about you because…

  • You have 6+ years of relevant experience in order-to-cash, Go-to-market, Sales Operations, contract compliance at either high-growth technology startups or well-established companies
  • You are proficient in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • You have experience with SQL, PactSafe/Docusign and Salesforce
  • You have excellent project management and record keeping skills
  • You have an excellent ability to interact and build trust across all levels of the business
  • You enjoy creating structure. You know how to take very broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into applicable projects with clear milestones and goals.
  • You value influential leadership. You excel at building relationships, gaining input and agreement from partners, and knowing how to motivate and organize teams behind a shared goal.
