DoorDash is looking for an engineering leader with strong product sense and experience building out forward-looking platforms and distributed systems at scale to lead our Logistics Platform team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for the reliability and scalability of the core services in our Logistics systems serving hundreds of thousands of requests every second, as well as the interface used to access this system and the primitives behind the scenes to generalize our fulfillment network to serve any use-case, from food delivery, to groceries, to retail, and beyond. You’ll lead a team of engineers across the stack (backend, mobile) to up-level our ecosystem and drive forward improvements impacting the broader engineering org.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the engineering vision, strategy, and execution for an organization of 20+ engineers.
  • Partner closely with other Engineering teams across the org to define and evolve the roadmap.
  • Scale the team by developing leaders internally and attracting world-class talent

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in people management
