The Business Systems Transformation and Acceleration team empowers teams through intelligent workflows, highly performant systems and reliable data. We partner with groups across the company including Product, Finance, Operations, Business Applications and Analytics to build systems and help the go-to-market teams to move quickly.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Systems Program Manager to join DoorDash's Business Systems Transformation and Acceleration group. As a Program Manager, reporting to our Senior Business Systems Portfolio & Program Manager, your mission will be to drive predictable project delivery cycles, adoption of internal tools, and reliable budget management with a broad array of stakeholders for meaningful business impact. You will work closely with our Business Systems Analysts and Cross functional stakeholders to manage critically dependent work and engage on large initiatives where dedicated project management will enhance the speed and reliability of the deliverables. You will serve as an liason in the portfolio process, identify tool capability gaps, assess technology against business needs and strategic objectives. The execution of projects will require you to use Salesforce, Lucidchart, Jira/Wiki, and Google productivity tools to name a few.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Drive clarity and transparency in the execution of project work across systems, tools and data initiatives that impact our business stakeholders
  • Ensure key project stakeholders are aware of progress, next steps and action items as it relates to complex multi-disciplinary initiatives
  • Track and manage visibility through creation of project wiki pages, project timelines, communications plans, risk and dependency logs, and action planners
  • Program manage initiatives past their release date to track impact, adoption, and opportunities for improvement 
  • Manage the communication cadences of releases, adoption and training, and planning cycles, through existing and new channels for a given project
  • Problem solve dynamically with issues within and outside your domain to drive scale and impact in the execution deliverables 
  • Maintain focus on overall objectives and support teams in unblocking the issues that keep us from hitting our key results
  • Maintain working relationships with vendors in support of activities like: assessment, procurement, budget management, adoption, and relationship management (ie: QBRs).
  • Manage the portfolio and procurement lifecycle for Tools, and vendor Procurement for our Go-To-Market technology enabled Programs.
  • Understand our tooling use cases deeply and identify innovative new ways to bring ROI and efficiency to teams through tools and process adoption.

We're excited about you because:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience of Program Management and at least 1 year of Vendor Procurement / Budget management experience
  • You have an understanding of portfolio management, intake, scoping, and stakeholder management.
  • You are highly proficient in project management, budget management, risk and issue identification and work breakdown structures.  
  • You have general skills in Salesforce, Cadencing, and Sales & Service related technologies (ie: Outreach, Chorus, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo etc) a plus
  • You see stakeholder management, transparency and coordination as a strategic benefit 
  • You know how to juggle hard conversations and trade offs with optimism and and a bias for action
  • You have structured critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • You are highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • When you are handed a mess, you enjoy and take pride in creating organization
  • You know how to balance speed and agility while driving towards a strategic long term roadmap.
  • You have an ownership mentality, and will do what is necessary to drive results
  • You have the determination to initiate and complete projects in a scrappy environment
