About the Role:

We are looking for a strong leader who has extensive experience in marketing analytics and can help us build out our merchant marketing analytics function. The scope of their team will include growth marketing, brand marketing, product marketing, and CRM analytics support for our merchant audience teams. Besides the execution of specific analyses, building out a roadmap and scaling the team will also be important components of this role. This role will work closely with our merchant marketing partners as well as our strategy & operations teams, product and engineering teams.

  • Own the overall analytics strategy for the merchant marketing workstreams
  • Build out a team to provide full analytics support for all areas relevant to marketing
  • Gain broad exposure to many key strategic workstreams  
  • Own growth marketing strategies and optimize our spend
  • Guide GTM strategies of key product and feature release
  • Establish our merchant CRM framework and policies
  • Work closely with our partners from the growth, brand, and product marketing teams
  • Work closely with product managers and engineering team
  • Mentor members on the team and grow talents

We’re excited about you because…

  • 9+ years data science experience with a Bachelor or Master degree or 6+ years with a PhD in relevant fields
  • 5+ years direct manager experience
  • 5+ years experience working in the field of marketing analytics
  • Strong communication skills - driving projects in a leadership role
  • SQL mastery 
  • Python or R mastery
  • Experience with multivariable modeling 
  • Experience with experimentation (A/B testing, diff-in-diff experiments) 
  • Experience with sentiment analysis is a plus
  • Experience with marketing attribution modeling is a plus
