The Compensation team designs and manages programs aimed at motivating and retaining top talent and enabling our Pay for Performance philosophy. Our work impacts every employee globally through the programs we administer. As part of the Total Rewards function, the Global Compensation team strives to provide a consistent and inclusive experience for all DoorDash employees across the globe, regardless of their location, background or job responsibility.

 

About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a Compensation Coordinator to support the growing needs of our Compensation function as we design and deliver key processes, programs and policies that enable business to grow and achieve business results as DoorDash scales at an unprecedented rate.

You will report to our Senior Manager, Compensation Design and Delivery on our Total Rewards team in our People organization.

  • Enable the delivery of compensation programs during a period of rapid growth for the company
  • Be a first point of contact for internal people team stakeholders
  • Learn about compensation program and process design and rollout
  • Work in a fast paced environment with numerous opportunities to learn and develop 
  • Contribute to the design and scaling of our processes, tooling and automations across our programs
  • Partner with teams across HRBPs, People Operations, People Growth (L&D), and Recruiting as we rollout new and recurring programs 
  • Contribute to training content development for core stakeholders

 

We’re excited about you because…

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer (internal or external) facing roles, preferably at high-growth consumer or enterprise technology companies. 
  • Exceptional ability to track and manage complex processes, and a desire to partner with multiple teams on multiple projects.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and relationship building
  • Ability to quickly learn how to use communication, collaboration, and HR tools (e.g. Workday, Confluence, GSuite, Slack, JIRA) to drive a seamless program delivery and customer experience
  • You’re highly organized and care about the details
  • You’re growth-minded and eager to expand your skill set
  • You’re data-driven and curious to identify themes and opportunities 
  • You understand both the big picture and the details
  • You display adaptability, resiliency, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity
