About the Team

The Driver growth marketing team's mission is to make Dashing the best way to earn in the gig space while expanding accessibility to potential Dashers. Our projects focus on improving the new Dasher onboarding experience and maintaining healthy fleet dynamics in each city as the business grows in scale and complexity. The team is composed of people from different professional backgrounds collaborating to scale marketing, operational, and product solutions to these challenges.

About the Role

We're looking for someone to join DoorDash's growing Growth Marketing team to design strategies that improve the experience for new drivers globally. You will help shape the driver onboarding experience through experimentation, and build strategies to motivate new drivers to get on the road quickly and increase productivity. You will also help build forecasting and execution capabilities to better serve new drivers and manage the multi-million dollar annual operational budget.

You are someone with analytics knowledge that is looking for an opportunity to use those skills to determine strategic frameworks and processes. You will work with other owners on the growth marketing, product, analytics, CRM marketing, and finance teams, and build relationships with vendors that help shape the onboarding experience. You can view and address operational problems and data from financial, behavioral, and tactical perspectives. You have experience working well and communicating with partners and leaders across the business.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Driver Growth Marketing on our Driver Growth team in our marketing organization.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build experiences to improve the activation to first delivery process for new drivers, including experimentation execution, and analysis
  • Analyze trend changes in the new driver lifecycle and identify opportunities to improve the conversion and productivity of new drivers
  • Partner with CRM marketing to test incentives and gamification tactics to increase new driver productivity and retention
  • Develop reporting dashboards to monitor step-by-step performance within the driver's first few weeks on the platform
  • Build forecasting tools to help better manage operational spend

We're excited about you because you have…

  • At least 5 years of experience in a financial, analytics, strategy, or operations role (e.g. consulting, investment banking, operations)
  • Experience summarizing data, making recommendations based on data, and balancing quantitative measurements
  • Knowledge of data analysis, SQL, and Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Ability to organize information and communicate essential points to partners and team members
