Analyst, Finance & Strategy - Global Support Operations
About the Team
The Finance & Strategy team accelerates the growth of our business by implementing new opportunities and solutions. We partner with teams across the company to improve the profitability, scalability and defensibility of our business model. We're looking for people who can model the future and to help carry projects from conception through execution. In a typical day, you may extract insights from data, build business cases for new products, and design and launch pilots. You'll help establish and lead some of the most impactful programs we undertake as a company.
About the Role
You will work with partners across DoorDash to ensure we are making strategic decisions that strike a balance between cost and quality of our global support operations. You will build sustainable models for our support business to ensure we understand and shape drivers of performance including support costs, support experience, and the support contact rate. You will have skills to influence data-driven decisions. You will report into an Associate on our Cost & Quality team in our Finance & Strategy organization.

- Work with partners to develop new processes and frameworks for forecasting in-house global support
- Work to increase our approach to balance cost vs. quality of support experience
- Identify and measure important risks and opportunities in scaling support operations internationally
- Support special projects to aid our partners in making strategic decisions in real-time

- 1+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company
- Work with and assist partners at all levels within an organization
- Basic proficiency (or willingness to learn). Manipulate large datasets, uncover hidden insights in our data, and improve our understanding of our business through this process
- Experience with logistics or consumer business
