About the Role

To further this mission, we’re looking for a terrific business leader to join our internal creative studio. The mission is to continue to build a world-class studio populated by diverse eclectic talent that both creates and makes - with capabilities including animation, content creation, production, editing, editorial and design - and consistently develops remarkable work for DoorDash and Caviar while cultivating a consistent and compelling voice through all touch points. 

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of building and leading successful agencies or business/account teams - either within advertising agencies or at brand-side internal studios. This person must have a passion for understanding and articulating business problems, a talent for building strong partnerships with Marketers, a belief in the creative product as the solution to those problems, and the ability to build an operation and a culture that consistently produces innovative and integrated solutions across the full spectrum of the media mix. They need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, and semi-structured environment, and must be comfortable guiding teams, agencies and/or production partners, but also willing to roll up their sleeves to do the work when necessary.

You will lead a terrific team; partner with Marketers across the business to develop work that drives business impact; and elevate the profile of creativity as a growth lever. Effortless collaboration is a must - as this role will touch every part of the business - as is a genuine appetite for building: for building and motivating people, for building a culture that fosters creativity; for building teams; and for building new capabilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Continue to build upon the vision and operating model for the Studio
  • Build and maintain key relationships with senior Marketing executives by demonstrating a deep understanding of the integrated marketing landscape and a commitment to driving results
  • Partner with the Operations Lead developing a comprehensive operating plan with both immediate and long-term goals and milestones, assessing the business needs to shape capabilities 
  • Ensure the studio is delivering best-in-class capabilities and partnership across all departments, instilling a culture of collaboration 
  • Maintain a culture where people love to work (and want to come and work), feel they can flourish, and are proud of what they contribute
  • Support the development of remarkable ideas - across a variety of marketing touchpoints - that resonate with our audiences, earn an outsized share of cultural conversation, and create competitive advantage. 
  • Help lead and manage both in-house and external teams in creative strategy, execution and production
  • Provides thought partnership to business partners and regularly makes recommendations on directions to improve area under scope
  • Influences and achieves consensus on direction, priority, and decision making of area under scope
  • Quantifies key relationships between different parts of the business to facilitate prioritization decisions
  • Contribute to an environment that fosters remarkable creativity
  • Ensure quality output in everything the studio does.

  • You will report into the Executive Creative Director


  • 12+ years experience as a Agency / Account Management leader
  • Experience developing and managing marketing campaigns and programs in a data-driven, integrated marketing environment
  • A driver of change, with a passion for the way the communications industry is evolving and fearless about breaking new ground
  • A clear and creative strategic thinker who recognizes and nurtures big, new ideas; knows how to win advocates for great work; and obsesses about the effectiveness of the creative product in market
  • Experience across creative expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential, and ideas that drive earned media
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading teams/agencies to create remarkable work that earns an outsize share of the cultural conversation
  • Experience building and leading teams/agencies from the ground up
  • Creative and collaborative - you love working with a team and solving challenging business problems through creativity
