POSITION SUMMARY:  

As a member of the L2 Technical Support Team, you will join an enthusiastic, fast paced, and dynamic team, and play a key role in the daily success of our customers. You will be focused on supporting our L1 and Preferred Advisor teams in managing difficult problems.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Field questions from other Technical Advisors 
  • Provide timely and ongoing communication with customers regarding reported bugs. Interactions may include case work such as telephone, email, Zoom, in person, or other internal tools, as needed and determined by the business
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Thinking outside the box; our advisors are offered a high degree of latitude to find and develop solutions. Successful candidates will demonstrate independent thinking that consistently leads to robust and scalable solutions for our customers
  • Advises and assist customers to adopt best practices and provides enablement
  • Create documentation and training for both clients and Domo employees alike
  • Continually learn and improve your knowledge of Domo’s platform to help provide an exceptional interaction 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

Required: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support or software application support. Preference given for SaaS, analytics, data, and Business Intelligence fields
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge 
  • Intermediate ETL experience 
  • Intermediate API troubleshooting experience 
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills and professional etiquette 
  • Flexible and adapts well to rapid change
  • Ability to become Major Domo certified within six months of hire
  • Some evening, weekend and holiday work may be required.

Desired: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, etc.) or 5-7 years related experience and/or training
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Python scripting, JavaScript, HTML, Relational databases
  • Strong API experience 
  • Knowledgeable with SSO and Identity providers 
  • Statistical computing: R, Jupyter 
  • Snowflake Data Cloud experience
